Vapor Retention Valve for Fuel Ventilation Systems

Made in JAPAN

Designed for use in the ventilation piping of underground fuel storage tanks, this advanced vapor retention valve minimizes fuel vapor loss caused by evaporation. It is especially effective under warm weather conditions and high wind scenarios, where pressure differentials can accelerate vapor escape. By preventing excessive venting, the valve helps maintain fuel volume, improves environmental compliance, and reduces economic loss making it an essential component for modern gas station vapor management systems.

  • The ECOvent (exhaust valve) automatically activates when the tank pressure rises due to added fuel or vapor, releasing excess pressure to equalize with atmospheric pressure.

  • The intake valve automatically opens when the pressure inside the tank drops below atmospheric pressure due to fuel dispenser operation, allowing outside air to enter and equalize the pressure.
